About Me

My qualifications include an Honours Degree in Biochemistry from UCW Aberystwyth and a PGCE in secondary science from UEA Norwich. I have QTS status and an advanced DBS certification. I have been a private tutor for the past 11 years, teaching Science Maths and English from Ks3 to A-level with degree level tutoring in Chemistry and Biological Science. I work primarily under the name IM Tutors, Previously I worked in full time secondary education. I still work in science for Sherborne School. I cover all exam boards in my teaching of the three sciences at present GCSE / IGCSE levels and specialise in Chemistry and Biology at A Level with availability in Physics. An increasing amount of my tutoring work is online using Skype or Zoom which has allowed me to increase my potential catchment area.
